Nepenthes × ventrata is a popular and easy-to-grow tropical pitcher plant, known for its attractive green leaves and striking reddish-orange pitchers. It is a natural hybrid of Nepenthes alata × Nepenthes ventricosa, combining the vigorous growth of N. alata with the compact, colorful pitchers of N. ventricosa.

The pitchers develop on long tendrils from the leaf tips and can become increasingly colorful when the plant receives good bright light. With proper care, a mature plant can produce pitchers continuously throughout the growing season.
